Function overview: Updates the needs-infobox parameter of {{WPSchools}} depending on whether or not the article has a infobox

Estimated number of pages affected: Possibly up to 1,000 first run, with later runs only a few dozen

Function details:

  • Pulls articles transcluding {{WPSchools}} and articles in category Category:School articles without infoboxes.
  • Loops through each article transcluding looking for '{{Infobox'
    • If it can't find the infobox but the article is in the category, or vice versa, it's skipped.
    • Otherwise, Makes the appropriate change to the template on the talk page

Why are you limiting this to only articles tagged by {{WPSCHOOLS}}? Couldn't you do this with other wiki projects? Additionally, I made a list of pages that are marked as having no info box, but transclude {{Infobox}}. See that list here. Tim1357 talk 04:12, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I admit the 1,000 was a very exaggerated estimate, but your list doesn't include pages that aren't marked as not having an infobox. FinalRapture - † ☪ 02:27, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
