Edit period(s): Every 3 days
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y
Function Details: This bot will go through all AFDs that transclude {{REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS AfD}}. It then looks at the first edit date, and checks if it's more than 2 weeks old. If it is, then it removes the template. Should not be a major task.
Discussion
editIs there a chance that a 3-week old AFD could be not actually closed for any reason? Anomie⚔ 02:11, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Whoops, that was a typo. I meant 2 weeks. And there actually could be a chance, if it's relisted a lot. If that's the case, I'll also have it check for the archival template at the top of the page. Xclamation point 02:16, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Checking for the archival template sounds like a much better idea than an arbitrary time limit. Doing it that way, I can't see any objection. Approved for trial (10 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. (just for good measure). Anomie⚔ 02:25, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How's it going? Have you had time to test this? – Quadell (talk) 18:52, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Yeah, I've been busy with other stuff. I'll get the 10 edits now. Xclamation point 22:18, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
