Discussion
editHow does the bot determine when to clear the sand box? Also, please link to this from Wikipedia talk:About the Sandbox. Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 23:54, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- It would be ran manually, probably right after I'd be getting home from school (Around 4 PM CDT) and right before I go to school, if I have time (Around 7 AM CDT). Pilif12p : Yo 02:05, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I see. Surely it would be just as easy to clear the sandbox manually then? Why not have a bot which checks every 30 minutes or so, to see if the header has been removed, if so replace it, and then maybe blank the other content every few hours? - Kingpin13 (talk) 08:02, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, i just found why soxbot isn't running, it seems that someone has shut it off. I'll talk to X! about it. I can try to make it replace the header when it's missing, and replace the entire content with just the header. Pilif12p : Yo 13:21, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I'd like to withdraw for now, as there isn't a use for it anymore, SoxBot is back. Thanks for your advice, though. Pilif12p : Yo 02:11, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
