Automatic, Supervised, or Manual: Automatic
Source code available: User:ZackBot/airport cleanup
Function overview: Remove deprecated map syntax from {{Infobox airport}} occurrences per Category:Pages using infobox airport with deprecated syntax
Links to relevant discussions (where appropriate):
Edit period(s): One time run
Estimated number of pages affected: 1,264 (all pages in category)
Exclusion compliant (Yes/No): No
Already has a bot flag (Yes/No): No
Function details: Goes through and removes the {{Location map}} from the {{{ICAO}}}
and converts the infobox to make use of {{{pushpin_map}}}
. It retains the data that is necessary from the location map including which map to use, the caption of the map, the label for the pushpin and the position of said label. Since all Airport maps should use File:Airplane_silhouette.svg the 'mark' param is ignored. As is the mark size.

- Trial complete. @Xaosflux: see Special:Contributions/ZackBot for the diffs. No issues on the front end. Had a couple of errors in console when I ran it. Had to make a few small changes on the fly to the regular expressions. Little typos that I had overlooked. See the latest change to User:ZackBot/airport cleanup for the diff. Nothing major just better regexs. I see zero issues with the diffs. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 04:56, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Approved. @Zackmann08: I am aware that Task 1 is not yet approved, I'd like you to run this task first to help catch any unusual situations that may use common code without you having to go through unnecessary additional "trial" periods. Please wait until you bot flag is issues by another bureaucrat before starting. — xaosflux Talk 04:10, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
