Looks like a bit of a nightmare. This has been listed for cleanup since October '04 and has a NPOV dispute. It is very long and needs some attention, assigned to three of our European historians (User:Sasquatch, User:Koblentz and User:Jareth) to look at, but this may need some other mechanism to sort it out. - Unfortunately, the main problem surrounding this article is that it appears to be little more than a justification of a particular theory and not much about the theory itself. It is severely lacking in information relevent to its title. I think the best course of action would be to add information about this theory to Hungary before the Magyars which already has a good start on a balanced look at prehistory in the area and culture. The remaining details about the creation and defense of the Turkish theory would be more appropriately renamed as page discussing just that theory -- at that point, some further cleanup of the large text blocks would be required. .:.Jareth.:. babelfish 14:30, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
- I'm probably going to head down to the library sometime this week and look up some books.. Sasquatcht|c 23:06, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
- This continues to be a major content dispute of several opposing theories. Little that cleanup can do; this is a job for dispute resolution. Shell babelfish 17:20, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
