Proposed solution: Allow the cross posting of talk page messages

More comments: Useful in the case of asking a mentor a Help desk style question on their talk page. If they don't know the answer they can cross post it to the Help desk for further opinions. Also good for comments on obscure article talk pages, they could be cross posted to relevant WikiProject talk pages
