Wikipedia:Complaining
This is an essay. It contains the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. This page is not an encyclopedia article, nor is it one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community. Some essays represent widespread norms; others only represent minority viewpoints. |
Stop complaining. Whether it is about editors, content, or the WMF, just stop it. Complaining won't magically solve the problem. The only way out is to be bold and solve it. That's the difference between a jerk and a great editor. For example:
- Systematic bias? Make more articles about the minorities.
- Unreliable content? Source it with reliable sources.
- Unreadable prose? Make it readable with proofreading.
- Terrible images? Find better ones and use them in the article.
- WMF spending too much money? Make a petition to end it.
- FAC or GAN is too bureaucratic? Make an alternative article quality control procedure.
