It was meant to support the fact that Christian's first reign, which lasted from May 1 - May 6, 2011, was in fact, therefore 5 days long and not 2 days long as the infobox on the article's page incorrectly suggests. That's a rather exceptional situation: it's quite rare that someone will add such a thing in good faith. Description

improve the Jordan Belfort article. The soft manner in which his crimes are alluded to (he is someone who "plead guilty" rather than someone who "Committed" or "Was Convicted of" xyz crime, gives me the impression that someone has softened the article (something the subject has a vested interest in). I want the article to be more encyclopedic around this man's known frauds.

My proposed changes, which change only a few words and states the facts more plainly: "...and former stockbroker who committed fraud and related crimes in connection with stock market manipulation and defrauding investors through a boiler room as part of a penny stock scam".

The original (with original grammar errors): "...and former stockbroker who pleaded guilty to fraud and related crimes in connection with stock market manipulation and running a boiler room as part of a penny stock scam".

Description

Added that according to the European Court of Justice, indirect effect could apply to opinions and recommendations. This is the second time an edit of mine is falsely tagged as potential vandalism. I think I found the reason - the beta visual editor has a bug in captcha, whereby I cannot enter the right letters no matter what. If I save the page via the old method, however, it works alright. Yet by this time the system already falsely suspects the user (=me) of vandalism. On another note, is it possible that the tag "potential vandalism" would be somehow removed after my edit is cleared? I do not find it comforting to have the tag next to my edits. Thanks!!

• Don't worry, it's not you. This quite often happens when people use Google Books as a source - the random letters and numbers in the URL often trigger a filter (in this case, just a warning one, so your edit has gone through OK). Black Kite (talk) 18:09, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
