Wikipedia:Featured and good topic candidates/Osvetnik-class submarine/archive1
The Osvetnik class consisted of two submarines built in France for the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (later Yugoslavia) and were launched in 1928–1929. Named Osvetnik (Avenger) and Smeli (Daring), their design was based on a partial double hull Simonot design similar to the French Circé class. They were both captured by the Italians during the World War II invasion of Yugoslavia and saw service as experimental and training vessels. They were both scuttled in September 1943.
