Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Home computer/archive1
I'm nominating this article for featured article because... it is good artical comprehesively covering subjet SWINGTALL (talk) 13:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's got no references to speak of. Why even look at FAC status until we can document the article much better than it is now? Lots of generalities in the article like "some models sold many units" - which models, how many? Dates in the 80's - some milestones and specific years would be useful. There's some really lively stuff in Home computer revolution that is cute as a magazine column but out of place in an encyclopedia. (Someone should write an article on the low level of literacy and critical thinking found in 98% of computer magazine columns. True, the dictum that the whole article has to fit on one page with an ad facing it, does put a constraint on literary style.) Lots of nostaligia from people who've been there, but no sources! --Wtshymanski (talk) 16:26, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
