I am nominating the 1999 Oscars for featured list because I believe it has great potential to become a Featured List. I read the requirements and criteria. I also followed how the 1929, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2009, 2010, and 2012 Oscars were written.--Birdienest81 (talk) 16:45, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comments –

"and" is needed before What Dreams May Come" in the lead.
Winners and nominees: "Shakespeare in Love earned the most nominations with thirteen nominations". Redundant use of "nominations" here.
Ceremony information: Where Whoopi is used outside the quote, the more formal Goldberg should be placed instead.
Space should be removed before ref 40.
In Memoriam: Not sure another Whoopi Goldberg link is needed here, since there's one a few sections back.
