I am nominating this for featured list because I think it is a super awesome list. It has crawled through the peer review process and come out clean on the other side, as far as I can tell, so this is the next step.   • I think it should be "Round": relating to which round of that year's draft the player was selected in. But I'll let the nominator confirm that. Either way, it should be mentioned in the Key for non-experts. Harrias talk 19:30, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comments –
  • I'm not sure if it's even possible to do this, but it would be better if GAA was sorting by the lowest average, since that is how the statistic is supposed to work.
  • I have found a way to reverse sort the GAA as previously requested. Using the sort template, the sort value is the inverse of the players GAA, ie one divided by the GAA (1/GAA). So 2.01 is sorted as 0.4975, 3.01 is sorted as 0.3322, and so on. Rejectwater (talk) 13:32, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Don't think the link to the main Sports Illustrated site is needed in ref 7. Also, the publisher should be italicized since the article came from a printed publication.
  • Formatting of Internet Hockey Database refs is inconsistent. Since it's ref 9 that is different than the others, I'd just adjust that one.
  • Also, should it be National Hockey League or The National Hockey League in the citations? I'd be inclined to go with the former, and the latter is again used just once anyway.
  • I am not aware of any reason to think that it isn't a reliable source. The three uses of eliteprospects.com are to verify the player's positions.   • Consider replacing *, ^, † and ‡ with templates that allows for alt text. What I mean is a templates like {{dagger}}, {{double-dagger}}, {{Hash-tag}}, {{Up-arrow}} and {{Down-arrow}}. Alt text can be added to these templates to explain their meaning, like this: {{dagger|alt=Spent entire NHL career with the Red Wings}}.
  • I'm not really sure about the usage of flags and wikilinks for player nationality. I would simply write out the name of the country and remove all flags and links.
  • I see what you're saying, however this is how every page in the series "List of NHL draft picks" does it. Some only use flags but that's a little too easter eggish for my taste.   • I see. I just think it looks a bit like overlinking. In an ordinary article nations are never linked since it is understood that most readers don't need the link to understand the context of the article. Also, linking Canada and USA over a 100 times doesn't really serves any purpose.   • It's a sortable table, so if one is linked they all have to be linked. Certainly I can understand not linking them at all, but I will leave this for other reviewers to provide input on if they so choose.   • Having looked at this again, I agree it is overlinking. The overlinking page lists this exact sort of thing as something that should not be linked: "the names of major geographic features and locations".   • Link NHL Entry Draft first time round.
  • I don't know what a "penalty minute" is.
  • In the lead I have changed "penalty minutes" to "penalties in minutes" to match it's usage in the key and have added links for goals, assists, points, and penalties in minutes. Rejectwater (talk) 15:54, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please ensure all tables, including key tables, comply with MOS:DTT.
  • You had commas in the "thousands" in the lead, e.g. 1,227 but not in the table, any reason for the inconsistency?
  • Ref should be Ref(s).
  • Where are the players that have nothing in the Ref column referenced?
  • Reference 8 covers Draft, Round, Pick, Player, Nationality, and Position. Reference 9 covers Draft, Round, Pick, Player, Postion, Games Played, Goals, Assists, Points, and Penalties in Minutes. Each of these column headers has a link or links to these references as appropriate. References in the "Refs" column cover Wins, Losses, Ties, Overtime Losses, Goals Against Average, Played at least one game with the Red Wings, Spent entire NHL career with the Red Wings, Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and/or Number retired by the Red Wings specifically for each player as necessary.   • Support. Exhaustive list, well researched & organized. Seems to make improvements on other team draft pick FLs in WP:Hockey. My only minor complaint is no pictures, but I guess due to width that had to be sacrificed. Anthony (talk) 13:44, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
