Regarding Notes A & B, I think that can be assumed and doesn't need to be explicitly mentioned.
- Removed notes A & B
In 1996 the - Need a comma after 1996.
- Added Comma
Panthers made a remarkable run - remarkable is a PEACOCK term.
Overall, this whole sentence needs to be reworked. in only their third season of existence is probably not needed since you give the year the team was founded in the opening paragraph and you specify what year they won the Stanley Cup, so you can deduce that it was their third season.
- reworked sentence
However since then - Comma after However.
- Added comma
post season - Post-season is hyphenated earlier in the lead, so why not post season?
- hyphenated Post-season
twice first after the - Again, comma after twice.
- Added comma
following year 2000–01 - Comma after year. Although I question whether the year is even needed here. You mention the 1999-2000 season, then you say and again the following year so you may be able to get by with just wikilinking following year to 2000–01 NHL season.
- Removed year wikilinked "following year"
In 2008 Igor Larionov - Comma after 2008.
- Added comma
2009–2010 season, 2000–01 and (2000–2001) - You need to pick one date format and stick with it. Either YYYY-YYYY or YYYY-YY (with the exception of the 1999-2000 instance.
- Standardized to YYYY-YYYY
The last paragraph needs to be reworked. There is an inappopriate usage of the semicolon in the first sentence.
- Removed semicolon
- I still see it.—NMajdan•talk
- Sorry, I must have overlooked it. I thought it was one of the edits the other user made before I started to make updates.(gone now)--Mo Rock...Monstrous (talk) 03:16, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Reworked the third paragraph. If my track record is any indication there will be more grammatical errors within the new paragraph.
Statistics complete as of the 2009–10 NHL season. - Why is this not italicized? Seems out of place coming at the end of an italicized sentence.
- Italicized
Use em dashes in the empty cells.
- Changed to em dash
The Notes column in the Goaltenders section is not needed if no entry uses it.
- Removed notes section
Using YYYY-YY date format for Greg Adams.
- Changed to YYYY-YYYY
Try to keep font sizes consistent in the Notes column on the Skaters section.
- Removed small text/removed a note not important to the franchise
Do the various categories need to be capitalized in the image captions (i.e. Goals, Points, Assists, etc)? Would you capitalize them outside of the caption?
- Changed to lower case
Fix ref #6. Use only one date format.
- Changed to have only one format
I don't like the placement of the references for the main tables. Consider putting them to a General reference category like here.
- Changed to be like the example given
Tomas Vokoun is Florida's current starting Goalie. - Needs a reference.
-
- Referenced and changed to lower case
I don't know if its a MoS requirement, but asterisks and daggers are usually superscripted.
- Changed to dagger to superscript. I think the asterisks are fine.
Why the smaller font size in the Goaltenders Key and not the other two?
- I copied from the Sabers page because I was having trouble with the column split, I must have some how deleted the other two.
- Changed to all be the same size.
Bryan McCabe is Captain of the Panthers. - Reference?
- Referenced (in notes section)
Stephen Weiss has played his entire career in Florida. - Reference?
- Referenced
David Booth scored 31 Goals for Florida in the 2008–09 season. - Reference?
- Referenced
Keith Ballard was traded to Florida following the 2007–08 season. - Reference?
- Referenced in new intro
Looks like you need to reference some of your notes. The references for the main tables make no mention of draft picks, captains, or Hall of Famers.
- Referenced notes not referenced in the into
- Overall, there are a lot of issues with the prose in the lead, so right now, this list does not meet FL criteria #1.
In an October 24, 2007 game vs. the Philadelphia Flyers - This sentence seems a little odd. The first part makes it sound like there were more than one game on this date. Also, you should spell out versus. So, maybe something like On October 24, 2007, Olli Jokinen score two goals against the Phildelphia Flyers to become the franchise's....
- Changed
assists surpassing - Comma after assists.
- Added comma
mark for games played. A mark Jokinen fell just six - Doesn't seem like there should be a sentence stop here; they flow like they're on sentence.
- Made into one sentence
No one player dominates the Panthers' post-season record book like Jokinen does the regular-season version. - Seems a bit peacocky again.
The Panthers' all-time goaltender records are dominated by two names. - Same as above.
- Reworked both sentences.
The last sentence in the four paragraph seems a bit odd. Also, you may want to put in more clearer terms what "owns the mark/holds the mark" is.
- Reworked last sentence. changed "mark" to record for clarification.
There are still some dates in the YYYY-YY format in the Notes column.
- Changed to YYYY-YYYY
- Not a requirement, but something I suggest for Featured Lists. Look into archiving some of your web sources with WebCitation to help prevent link rot.
- Archived several references. Stat based links are going to change and be used to update player information so I did not archive them.
Currently, there are a lot of issues with the list, especially with the lead. Compared to the lead in List of Philadelphia Flyers players, this one is a little short and has prose issues.
- The lead is still a bit shorter than the Flyers page, but is longer than some of the other featured Lists such as List of Atlanta Thrashers players.
- The Atlanta list was promoted to FL over two years ago whereas the Philadelphia list was promoted in early April and is thus more indicative of the tougher FL guidelines in place now.—NMajdan•talk 15:21, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
