  • Title of article: Needs to be changed, should be moved to List of PGA Champions, Championship/Champions is the same thing.
I disagree PGA Championship is the name of the competition, an should remain, and Championship/Champions are not the same thing there is a huge difference, one is the competition itself, the other is the winner of the competition. NapHit (talk) 23:18, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it sounds little odd, but it works for List of The Open Championship champions which is a Featured List, and the golfers are also referred to as champions, so I think it should remain the same NapHit (talk) 00:15, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was established in 1916 as one of the four major championships to be played each year, which include (you name them here). Due to World War I and II, the competition was not held in 1917-1918 and in 1943, respectively. [See how it flows better?]
    • The reigning champion of the competition is automatically invited to play in the other three majors (Masters, the U.S. Open, and the Open Championship (British Open) for the next five years, and is exempt from qualifying for the PGA Championship for life. - If you list the other majors earlier, you don't have to list them here. Also, in this sentence you didn't even close the parenthesis. So the winner of one competition is not able to play in future ones? That's how I read it, if not, needs to be reworded.
    • He also receives membership on the PGA Tour for the following five seasons and invitations to The Players Championship for five years. - 1)You constantly use male terms, it should be explained earlier that this is a men only competition. 2)What following five seasons? It's written like if the reader should already know what they are.
    • The PGA Championship was originally a match play event; however, in 1958 it was changed to a stroke play event. - the semicolon is not grammatically correct there, remove it and change it to a comma.
    • Lead should be expanded by saying who was the first winner and the most recent winner.

  • Why does "which include the (Masters, the U.S. Open, and the Open Championship (British Open))" have parentheses?
  • "the competition was not held in 1917–1918" just 1917 or 1918
  • In the table, "None" is used for the winner only in 1917 and 1918, but in 1943 it's used twice, for the winner and runner up. Needs to be consistent
  • What does "6 & 5" mean in the margin?
There is a reference for this in the margin heading, but if that' not sufficient then I'll add a note NapHit (talk) 00:10, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Notes A and B are not necessary because you've said it in the Lede
