I am nominating this for featured list because I believe with a bit of work it could be ready to become a featured list. The list is complete (to my knowledge) and well referenced. 03md 22:56, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

• Comment You also have List of best-selling singles of the 2000s (UK) at FLC. Note the instructions at the top of WP:FLC: "Users should not add a second FL nomination until the first has gained support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed." I don't personally have a problem with it, but others might as it creates a backlog. I would suggest putting this on hold until the first nom seems clear to pass. Comments "to find a new singer" seems a little understated to me. Changed the sentence - is this any better? Feel free to suggest an alternative. "series [1] and" please place references per WP:REF, i.e. after punctuation where possible, and with no spaces. Done "allowing him to begin his music career" not really. His music career had to have begun for him to be in this show... Removed that phrase "Anything Is Possible" / "Evergreen" or "Evergreen/Anything Is Possible"? Made consistent by using the former "He continued to have chart success.." reads poorly for me. Changed "In the second series in 2003," you need a comma after series because this could be read that there were two series in 2003. Done "she left the music industry" uncited. Removed this sentence "He had further success..." Gates, not He, as you last mentioned Young. Done Double A-side doesn't need to be capitalised. Changed "before leaving the industry, only briefly returning in 2007." uncited. Cited the sentence "quickly came together" really? Changed Hopes & Fears entry formatted inconsistently and has no ref. Formatted correctly and added reference You only have one ref for each so remove (s) from ref(s) until you really need it. Done ""Come Back" [a]" remove space before note. Check others. Done Several release dates missing an actual date. Done Any of these releases made internationally? If so, that should be included here. Will Young's last album isn't referenced. Done Series is left aligned (mainly) in the first table, centrally in the second. At least be consistent from table to table. Done Album peak position col doesn't sort correctly. It now sorts correctly You have a section 2.1 but no 2.2. Perhaps you need "Solo albums" and then "Pop Idol albums" as subsections to section 2. • 3rd, 4th and 5th "other releases" are unreferenced.

Should I just remove them completely as I can't find Reliable refs.

The lead should have some overall count of releases, releases by contestants from each series, stat. info in that nature. Done. I have also added a table of statistics near the bottom of the article. List Why do the notes about the rank cutoff have inconsistency, one is written in regular font while the others are in italics? Changed. What company is behind the Pop Idol albums? Done. • Closing note Even though this FLC garnered a support, I have archived this nomination as unsuccessful, as more than a month has passed since this FLC was submitted, and the length of FLC has put off reviewers. Unfortunately, I have had to fail several old, stale FLCs because of this. Feel free to re-submit this FLC in 3 or 4 days after ensuring that the previous issues have been resolved.
