- Support, especially given that it's not featured anywhere else. I think history category would go. Twilightchill t 09:07, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- I personally think a heraldry (and related- seals, emblems, that sort of thing) category would be good. We have a few heraldry pictures bouncing around in various places. J Milburn (talk) 10:17, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- To be a bit broader, "Emblems, symbols, logos, and heraldry"? Adam Cuerden (talk) 20:43, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, perfect. Could probably be a subcat of artwork. J Milburn (talk) 22:07, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- As for current categories maybe Culture and lifestyle, Sculptures or Other artworks. We've got a couple of heraldic pieces in Drawings, but that's not for the image to the right. --I'ḏ♥One 02:37, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
- Please if you do create something new, try to give it a shorter name - "signs" or "signage" or something. Even "symbols" would probably be general enough to cover all those things listed above. Papa Lima Whiskey (talk) 20:42, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

- Support Looks nice and clean at thumbnail and while the dings of reality are clear at full size, can hardly hold the actual flaws of the physical object depicted against it! (What? Your photo of the Venus de Milo has no arms?!) Staxringold talkcontribs 03:35, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
- Comment - It's a nice picture to be sure, problem is that we don't really know that it belonged to the McDonnells of Antrim (the Earls of Antrim). It certainly isn't the coat of arms of the current McDonnell of Antrim, and it isn't the coat of arms given in Burke's General Armory for the earl back then at atleast (1884). At the moment we don't know who it belongs (or belonged) to. I think it had better be renamed to what is certain - it's a coat of arms outside Dunluce Castle.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 05:12, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
- For the record, the discussion has come out that the coat of arms changed over time, with this reflecting an older (but very similar) form of the coat of arms than the current earl uses. The differences are minor, and the upshot is likely to just be using both in the article. =) Adam Cuerden (talk) 00:50, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Weak support - my chief reservation is that Brianann MacAmhlaidh seems to raise some good points about whose coat of arms this actually is. I think those issues should be resolved if this is to go to FP. Otherwise, it is a very good, clear image with strong EV. Tim Pierce (talk) 01:24, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Support This is an interesting type of nomination we don't usually get. --I'ḏ♥One 17:46, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
