Weak Oppose. I want to like this image but a few things would have to be fixed first. The primary problem is that the subject is in shadow. I also find the obvious cloning marks (where something was eliminated from the background) on the right side distracting. Finally, there is noise visible in the bird at 100%. It's an excellent image to demonstrate the size of the bird, but it needs work before I could support it for FP. I made an editing pass, but I'm out of time for now and it's still not right. The bird has been pulled out of the shadows a bit, and the noise has been reduced. Some of the more obvious cloning marks on the right edge of the frame have been eliminated as well. But the cloning marks around the bird's tail are still there and still distracting. I may be able to work on it some more later today, or maybe somebody else could have a go at it. -- moondigger 15:15, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weak oppose A very good pic but not quite good enough for FP in my opinion. Compare our existing featured nuthatch. Comment: I disagree with both of you, who obviously don't appreciate the fact that he is feeding the wild bird out of his hands! I think that this picture is beautiful, and I would love to frame it and put it on my wall!
