Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Fall Trees
I believe this image is not only very representative of the color of trees during the fall, but also artistically pleasing, with the dual tree tunks spiraling clockwise towards each other. It appears in Autumn. I still have the original file, if anybody feels that any edit need to be made.

- Comment, Colors are not really vivid but dark and murky against the blown out sky. Not really the best image on the Autumn page. --Dschwen 15:24, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
- Reply - I think that's really more of a problem with the newer edit than the photo itself. The first revision had much brighter colors, but I thought it was a little small.
- Oppose I agree the composition is pleasing but I don't like the way the bright sky eats into the leaves especially in the top right corner. And as a representation of Autumn, I don't think this works as well as the Autumn desktop wallpaper that shipped with Windows XP, and I'd want to see something at least as good for an Autumn FP. ~ Veledan • Talk 18:36, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
