Reason: This image depicts Florence Nightingale, considered the founder of nursing, giving aide to the victims of the Crimean War along with her company of volunteer nurses. There are quite a few images that display Nightingale's actual provision of care to her patients. Linked to this image is the article Nightingale's Environmental Theory which is one her first theories and still the basis of nursing practice today.
