- Oppose The depicted object is of great importance, but the picture itself is simply poor.--Desiderius82 (talk) 10:43, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose. The subject itself is interesting, but I'd say this fails criterion 3b. NauticaShades 12:13, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Criterion 3 says that "historical and otherwise unique images may not have to be classically beautiful at all", but looks like we are talking about tastes here. Brandmeister[t] 13:43, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Indeed, but 3b says that a picture should "illustrate the subject in a compelling way, making the viewer want to know more." I'm not saying that this picture should be beautiful, just that it is not particularly compelling. NauticaShades 14:17, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose - In this case it is not about beauty, it's about depicting the subject in the best way possible. To start with, the angle at which the picture was taken, makes it more difficult to read than if it was taken with the camera sensor in parallel to it. This is not the kind of subject that is extremely difficult to photograph, so we can hope for a better FPC. I totally agree with Desiderius' and Nautica's comments above. - Oppose. Shouldn't have been taken at such an oblique angle. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:36, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
