Original - A Black-crowned Night Heron on a perch

Reason: One of the better pictures I have seen of a heron on the Commons. It shows great detail of the bird.

Support Article says these are often city birds, so "unnatural" environment is not a problem. If these birds commonly perch on fences, it is silly to insist that we have a photo of one in a tree. Technical quality looks good to me. Mangostar (talk) 00:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
