Original - Snake's Head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris), a flowering plant from the family Liliaceae growing on a wet meadow.

Reason: High quality and large size photograph, illustrating both the plant and its swampy habitat (= high EV). Already featured at Commons (see the nomination page there). This is the second nomination after the first one got 100% support but not enough votes. So, please, vote.

Oppose Lighting seems somewhat harsh and uneven on the flower; and while it's good the stem is included, it's too blurry. The quality of the bokeh is also not that good, to the point of being distracting in some places. Fletcher (talk) 14:56, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
