- Reason
- Total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 recorded in Saint-Georges, Quebec, Canada. The traffic flow shows the short time scale, i.e. minutes, not hours. The brightness of the sky at horizon shows the unnatural nature of the event. There is slight camera movement, but not too distracting IMO.

- Oppose - the swaying motion is very disturbing. Was this shot from a drone or a swaying mast, and later stabilized? It is impossible to remove the swaying due to perspective change. Besides, it does not show the eclipse, just the darkening. (I once shot a similar timelapse on 16mm film, evening-night-morning, and it looked almost the same... Admittedly, the motion of the vehicles was totally different.) --Janke | Talk 10:02, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- Yeh you live close to the north pole! For the rest of us the night's horizon is never that bright (if any). Bammesk (talk) 16:22, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, per above. Moonreach (talk) 14:04, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
