Original – The Adventures of Prince Achmed is a 1926 German animated film by Lotte Reiniger, based on One Thousand and One Nights.

Reason: The Adventures of Prince Achmed is the oldest surviving feature-length animation. It's the best-known work by German director Lotte Reiniger and showcases her unique visual style, which used a novel multiplane camera setup to recreate the look of a shadow play.
