This is a small and recently discovered genus of rodents from Madagascar. The articles on the genus and the three species are all GAs. I intend to submit the lead article and that on V. gymnocaudus to FAC, so that this topic can become a FT. --Ucucha 09:46, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to add—if desired, the article on Andreacarus voalavo (a parasitic mite that is only found on Voalavo gymnocaudus) can be included. I would prefer not to have it, since it is not clearly a subtopic of Voalavo (it could be found on other species, for example). Ucucha 10:05, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Voalavo gymnocaudus is now an FA. Voalavo will probably be my next FAC; if that passes, this will fulfil the FT criteria. Ucucha 12:25, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to promote this but would like another comment or two just to make sure nothing's missing. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:22, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since Voalavo is currently at FAC, I'm just going to wait so that this can be promoted as an FT, if that's alright. Makes it easier on both ends I think. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 00:07, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Forgot to note here that I had brought it to FAC. Ucucha 00:08, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Voalavo just passed FAC, so this can now become an FT. Ucucha 04:08, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
