- Anyone may project updates to the This Month in GLAM Newsletter, get in touch with editors to post in The Wikipedia Signpost, and utilize Wikipedia’s many other internal newsletters and sites of documentation.
- Track growth-project accounting using Wikimetrics and report them to the Wikimedia Foundation.
- Attend a local Wikimedia Chapter meeting [in New York, Wikimedia New York City]– and report on the status of your project to local Wikipedians.
- Start a newsletter or mailing list to post project updates to interested community members and stakeholders.
- Improve collections sections, possible create pages for collections
- Create articles for museum libraries, links to their digital collections
- Add article content, links, media, audio, documents for pages related to upcoming exhibitions
- Add references, links, to applications of technologies to museums.
- Wiki Women’s History Month in March, Editing articles on famous women in history to close the gender gap. There are numerous such projects/canned events related to Wikipedia, online culture, and the gender gap.
