The Vanderbilt Libraries began a Dean's Fellow Wikipedia project in 2013. The project was intended to bring the Special Collections materials to a wider audience through the use of Wikipedia. The first Wikipedia Dean's Fellow, Yun Cha (2013-2014), hosted a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon that educated members of the general public in Wikipedia writing, editing, and culture. Wikipedia Dean's Fellow Nicolette Kostiw (2014-2015) and Vanderbilt Libraries joined the WP:GLAM project in 2014. Kostiw, along with project director Clifford Anderson, will host another Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in November 2014. For more details, see the Events page.
