Organisation: Atria Institute on gender equality and women's history in Amsterdam is a foundation which promotes women's emancipation and the study of women's history. It is the result of a merger of Aletta, institute for the study of women's history and E-Quality, documentation centre for emancipation, family and diversity.

For example, the Dutch articles w:nl:Feminisme and w:nl:Aletta Jacobs article Africa have been consulted 7120 and 8359 times respectively last November. For researchers, students, information specialists and amateurs wishing to share their expertise with the public at large, Wikipedia is an appropriate medium. However, editors of Wikipedia need to understand the special working principles of this medium. In the short course Introducing Wikipedia we discuss these topics.
