- A revised version of my previous, unworkable request; Would it be possible for someone to create new, more detailed, versions of both the coat of arms (above-left) and flag (above-centre, which should also be preferably redrawn as SVG and rectangularised to make it more flag-like) of the fictional country of Narnia by editing the current versions to replace the lions with the more elaborately drawn one shown above-right (albeit changed from gold to red of course, preferably a similar shade to the current one). - @FOX 52: Thanks so much, you couldn't have done a better job. Though I do have one or two more favours to ask before I declare this resolved; Would it be possible for you to create the versions of the flag and arms used by the so-called "New Dynasty" of Narnia in the later books (information here: https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/fic_narn.html)? Effectively the same as what you have already done, but with the lion changed to gold. Thanks again. User:Snow Lion Fenian
- @Snow Lion Fenian: The link you put up doesn't have any images to go off of, (can you find a image to work from)? FOX 52 (talk) 17:16, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- @FOX 52: Sure, here's the Wikia page of the New Narnian Dynasty, with the Arms at the top: https://narnia.wikia.com/wiki/New_Dynasty (Though ignore the red claws and tongue, which I think are supposed to be golden like the rest of the lion). User:Snow Lion Fenian

Just one more thing (and I promise this will be the last one before I close this request), would it be possible to create an SVG image of Peter Pevensie's personal shield (as described in Ch.10 of TLTWATW) from the series? Effectively the red lion again, but on a silver field. Thanks again. User:Snow Lion Fenian

- Can someone create a similar image that looks like this or this, or this except that the text of the unit name (bottom lettering) reads '4 ВОЗДУШНО - ДЕСАНТНАЯ ГВАРДЕИСКАЯ ДИВИЗИЯ'. As shown [1] here and in the flag here, the '4' should be the size of the two columns of text to its right, ВОЗДУШНО - ДЕСАНТНАЯ is the top line and ГВАРДЕИСКАЯ ДИВИЗИЯ is the second line. The star in the top left should have a border similar to this but with the color of the first example. I am asking this because I would like a public domain image of the battle flag for the infobox of 4th Guards Airborne Division and similar units, while if I used an existing image it would need a fair use rationale. - @Kges1901: a little clarity here, you want just one file (flag) for the 4th Guards Airborne Division? of 3 for other articles - FOX 52 (talk) 21:18, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

- top text is in three columns of one word each: СМЕРТЬ [line break] НЕМЕЦКИМ [line break] ЗАХВАТЧИКАМ
- the '4' is red interior with yellow border (same shades as you've already used), but otherwise is in correct position, same (colors) for bottom text
- ДЕСАНТАЯ should be in the top line of the bottom text block to the right of ВОЗДУШНО

- You have almost everything right, except for the bottom text block. This picture is what I want the bottom block to look like (except that the picture has bad lighting and is not in color, but aside from that it is what I would like for the format of the bottom text block). The ВОЗДУШНО - ДЕСАНТНАЯ is the top line on the bottom text block, and ГВАРДЕИСКАЯ ДИВИЗИЯ is the bottom line on the bottom text block. The hyphen is actually printed, in the same way as the letters. Thanks, Kges1901 (talk) 15:37, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

- I would like to request some updates to the colour scheme of this coat of arms, primarily the green (but also the yellow if you are up to it). Based on the research I have been able to do of images from that time period, the coat of arms and flag(s) of Rhodesia used a darker, richer green, especially during the UDI period. I have approximated this green to 0f4b32ff (though if you feel you can create a better approximation, I will not mind). Once the coat of arms is updated, I would be able to update the various flags such as File:Flag of Rhodesia (1968-1979).svg myself, but the coat of arms is beyond my abilities because of the various gradients. My sources are provided below. Fry1989 eh? 17:59, 2 August 2018 (UTC)

- Hi there. I just uploaded a few images with quite a bit of EV. Could someone reupload them in a more appropriate size and, if possible, with improved image quality? Basically similar to what @Kober: did here; [10]-[11] (another miniature from the same manuscript). Thanks much in advance, - LouisAragon (talk) 00:06, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- I provided the original source links as well. - LouisAragon (talk) 00:20, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- @FOX 52: If you open the original source links, zoom in and then save, you get a far better image in terms of quality. Perhaps you could do that and then upload the better image instead. Not entirely sure, but I guess thats what user:Kober did as well. - LouisAragon (talk) 02:11, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- I just made screenshots of zoomed-in images. I was unable to download a full-resolution image.--KoberTalk 14:32, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
- @FOX 52: Unfortunately, they still look kinda blurry/vague? Is it because I uploaded them without zooming in? The difference in terms of clarity and colour quality between these images and the one uploaded/adjusted by user:Kober from the same source/manuscript, is striking. - LouisAragon (talk) 02:41, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- @FOX 52: I just gave it a try. What do you think?

- Alright, would it be possible for someone to create an SVG image of the flag used by the Fijian Army, as shown at the top of the following page: https://fotw.info/flags/fj%5E.html. I know the central symbol is hard to see, but there appears to be a Tabua in the middle, if that helps. Thanks. User:Snow Lion Fenian

- Request
- Alright, would it be possible for someone to create more accurate (as in closer to the version from the books) versions of the arms and flag of the fictional country of Telmar (from the Chronicles of Narnia) by making a few changes to the above versions:
1) Changing the background colour of both to match the same shade of dark orange from the books, as shown here: https://narnia.wikia.com/wiki/File:Miraz.JPG
2) Changing the eagle itself on both to the version shown here: https://i.pinimg.com/474x/40/28/91/402891f99ed8cfebcfd7d52abd4f9562--leo.jpg, which more closely matches the book version (e.g. the fact that the eagle is all black, and the wingspan of the eagle).
3) Redrawing the flag as SVG and removing the unnecessary white line from the bottom.
Thanks. User:Snow Lion Fenian

- @Snow Lion Fenian: you're looking for something like that? FOX 52 (talk) 23:22, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- @FOX 52: Thanks a lot, and great work as usual. Though just a few other things; Any chance you could make the shape of the Arms the same as that of the prior version above-left? And preferably without the black border as well, if that's okay. Plus, perhaps you could bring the shape of the eagle's wings closer to the version displayed in the link in point 2 (notice how the bottom of the wings are cut away to create a curve in them, which is also visible in the eagle in the flag above). And any chance you could do the flag as well? Thanks again. User:Snow Lion Fenian
- @Snow Lion Fenian: How's that? - FOX 52 (talk) 01:27, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- @FOX 52: Brilliant work on the eagle, you couldn't have done it better (though upon looking at the version in the first link again, I noticed it should probably have no tongue, sorry for the inconvenience, though it is a relatively minor thing). And perhaps you could do the flag version as well before I close this request? Again, thanks for your time. User:Snow Lion Fenian

- @FOX 52: Superb job on both fronts, thanks once again for your hard work, I do appreciate it. Though, just before I declare this request resolved, I'd like to get your opinion on another potential request I'm thinking of making (not as part of this one of course, this one is finished); Dou think it would be possible to create an SVG file of the flag of Calormen (from the same franchise) from the banner shown in the following image: https://narnia.wikia.com/wiki/File:Roonwitslaststand.jpg? Or is it too little to work with? (Though if it helps, there is a full image version of the creature displayed on it available here: https://narnia.wikia.com/wiki/File:Picture_119.jpg) Should I make such a request?
