- I'm not certain it is. The username of the unloader suggests that it might be the same person who also photographed the image and uploaded to Airliners.net. If you want to be certain, you might want to contact Mr. Collins via the Airliners.net contact form and verify if he uploaded it to Wikipedia or not. -- Hawaiian717 22:36, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- It was uploaded to WP 14 days before www.airliners.net, and placed under GNU. It is actually airliners.net that is violating copyleft by marking it as copyright! I notified them via their web feedback form. Dhaluza 01:14, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  - Note that it sometimes takes several days for a photo to be processed through Airliners.net's screening queue; and I believe the date shown on that site is the date it was screened and approved. So the uploader may well have uploaded them to both sites at essentially the same time. Not that it matters--as jbolden1517 points out, nothing prevents someone from uploading a photo here under a free license and uploading it to Airliners.net under a more restrictive license. -- Hawaiian717 16:01, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article now links to the new one on Commons so the one stored Wikipedia can be safely deleted. (Self upload)

The image was originally uploaded by me as "Image:Muslim-country-women-kashmir1890.jpg". The uploader, simply changed the name of the image, because s/he feels that the women in the picture are not Muslim, but rather Hindu. However, in my view, this action by the uploader (at the very least) constitutes original research. I have since removed both images from the article Kashmir region — Fowler&fowler «Talk» 14:44, 18 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Hindu can be a religion OR an ethnicity (Like Jew, which can be ambiguous sometimes.) They are definitely ethnic Hindus, and possibly religious Hindus. Neutral on deletion. Nardman1 20:48, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - Please do not delete this image. A detailed fair use rationale has been given. The image is of a low resolution and is a television screenshot.     - Really? Because I just read all four articles and nowhere does it make any note about his appearance or facial expressions that would require this specific image in order for the reader to understand it better. In fact, with regards to this particular broadcast, what's more noted is the fact that Werner Erhard's brother called in. Do any of these articles need this image in the way that Billy Ripken needs its baseball card image so that you can see where the F-word is hidden?       - You are correct, the articles themselves do not refer to facial expressions or the like, it is the image itself that brings across this info. But I would argue that it is not simply decorative, it's useful in the articles as stated above. I will hold further comments and wait to hear what others think. Comment - This is a very low resolution image, depicting actor Bert Convy, made up to parody Werner Erhard. It is a screenshot from a film. Though it can be described how Convy was made up to look like Erhard for the film, this is best illustrated with a low resolution picture. However, at a later point in time if a better screenshot from the same film could be used instead, depicting more of a scene, that would be preferable. Smee 13:14, 21 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
