Arjun Munda sworn in Jharkhand Chief Minister BJP leader Arjun Munda was sworn in as Jharkhand chief minister by Governor Syed Sibtey Razi along with five Independent MLAs. The support of the independents is crucial for the state government's survival. Arjun Munda was invited to form the government, after the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led United Progressive Alliance failed to prove its majority on the floor of the House. |
