Pianist. Seems to be notable, but the article was primarily written autobiographically. However, unlike some recent incidents, the subject now understands the WP:COI issues, and seems willing to co-operate (and has stated that he is impressed with the integrity of the editors at wikipedia, and has expressed an interest in contributing to other articles that he has knowledge about). With that in mind, please use the talk page of the article to work through things with him; he's been advised, to avoid even the appearance of impropriety, to not edit the article at all, but discuss anything on the talk page. He seems happy with that, so it looks like with some appropriate massaging, and getting references in (he's provided some on the talk page) we can make this a great article. — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 19:40, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good work. Having a discography might help, as the reader can see the development of the subject's work from year to year and you can avoid statements like "he has recorded for the X, Y and Z labels". A lot of people work on classical music articles and I'm sure some would like to help. Itsmejudith 20:57, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Resolved and tag removed. Myself and several other established editors have gone over the article, it no longer is an autobiography, and the author (the subject) is fully aware of COI and respects the policies and guidelines, and has not edited the article. This person is indeed, quite notable, and the article is properly sourced and cited now. I agree it does need a discography, but that is not a reason to remain in ICU.
