Basic information
This editor is a banned POV pusher who mostly edits content relating to Singapore. They have created a great quantity of sockpuppets in order to defend or build upon edits made by their previous accounts. They claim to be paid for their efforts.
Their original account has not been definitively identified within the known extent of their abuse, but they are best known as these users:
- Ineedtostopforgetting (talk · contribs · block log · arb · SPI confirmed suspected)
- Feinoa (talk · contribs · block log · arb · SPI confirmed)
Targeted areas, pages, themes
This editor usually edits articles about Singaporean culture, politics, and landmarks, particularly:
- Singapore
- Singaporean nationality law
- Culture of Singapore
- Economy of Singapore
- Crime in Singapore
- Jewel Changi Airport
- Kaya toast
- Sex trafficking in Singapore
- Worker's Party (Singapore)
- Lee Hsien Loong
- Disneyland with the Death Penalty
- Don Quijote (store)
- Articles about the Singapore transit system
- Articles related to football, particularly teams or players somehow connected to Singapore
They have also made POV edits to articles containing information about broader Asian culture and politics particularly in relation to China. They regularly return to these topics:
- Adrien Zenz
- Bubble tea/Milk tea/Milk Tea Alliance
- East Asian cultural sphere
- Overseas censorship of Chinese issues
- Articles related to Human Rights in China, particularly focused on Xinjiang and Tibet
- Articles related to Chinese as an ethnicity, such as Anti-Chinese sentiment, especially in regards to racism-related articles in the context of the United States
- Articles related to Taiwan, particularly anything that has to do with cross-strait relations
- Articles about South Korea, particularly in relation to the economy or health
Habitual behavior
- Creating and using multiple different accounts in a short period of time, attempting to blend them in as established users, and often quickly abandoning them afterward.
- Embedding puffery into extensive, well-formatted additions to an article (often shortly after creating a new account).
- Restoring content introduced by previous socks which had been removed by other editors.
- Whitewashing, puffing, or blatantly removing content that could portray Singapore negatively.
- Resorting to edit warring and battleground behaviour to preserve their edits, and returning to the same conflicts with new sockpuppets.
- Attempting to derail talk page discussions by sealioning.
- Using multiple IP addresses on the same page and protesting innocence from one if all are reverted
- Accusing others of edit warring and casting aspersions, and of bad faith if they are noted as a sockpuppet
- Harasses users across multiple pages, both with IPs and accounts
While not as common, this editor has also:
- Made significant contributions to an article, and then used a sock to promote the article to GA.
- Edited COVID-19 related articles to censor descriptions of prejudice against people who are not from specific areas of Asia.
- Edited articles about other Asian nations specifically to insert unnecessary, unfavourable comparisons to Singapore.
- Made accusations of harassment and hounding including to administrative noticeboards, often multiple socks will pile on to the case
- Used tools like IABotManagementConsole [1.2] and Twinkle with their more long lived socks
- Misrepresented sources (e.g. changing a quote to support their edits or cite a book page that does not treat the present subject at all) and article content (e.g. claiming bias about omissing information that is in fact already covered)
- Created socks which purport to be editors from unrelated European or Asian countries, but continue the activities noted above
Habitual conduct towards other editors
After a sock is discovered and blocked, there may be some sort of retribution meted out to those involved. This normally takes the form of aggressive edit history stalking with disruption potentially extending to any article created or edited by the user which reported the sock (even when well outside of their normal area of interest). Direct personal attacks are less common but have occurred.
Some sockpuppets have been quick to create WP:AN3, WP:ANI, and WP:SPI reports against users who were involved in recent or previous content/policy disputes with this editor.

Other notes
This editor's sockfarm was initially discovered in March 2020, but they have a history of account-hopping prior to that. The oldest known account is User:ShelteredCook (created in 2015, sleeper until November 2020), but it is likely that this editor has older dormant accounts.
