This infobox is meant to be used on articles about specific poems. For novels that are just long poems, {{Infobox Book}} should be used.
For example: Suicide in the Trenches, Dolores (Notre-Dame des Sept Douleurs). See the huge Category:Poems.

What the parameters mean:
title | Title of the poem. Use quotation marks or italics as needed. |
author | author of the poem. If not used, the text "Anonymous" will show |
authors | use instead of "author" if more than one author contributed |
image | the name (without the image prefix) of an appropriate image, preferably not of merely text (unless important manuscript). Image size and caption are part of the image. |
lines | the number of lines |
line1 | a significant quote from the poem, italicized |
line2 | use with line1 if you wish to quote two lines |
linenum | the line numbers of the quote, if appropriate |
language | original language of the poem |
titlenoteng | If not written in English, original title of the poem. Use in addition to "title" |
written | approximately when the poem was written |
released | when the poem was released to the public, or published |
part of | if part of a larger work, list that |
meter | meter. For example: Iambic tetrameter |
scheme | rhyme scheme, if any. For example: AABBABC, couplet |
form | use if meter and scheme are covered by one element. For example: Blank verse, Onegin stanza |
themes | themes in poem, if any |
footnotes | self-explanatory |
