Edit-a-thon for Notable Chemists and Chemistry

at the 250th American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting & Exposition
Join us for a training and editing session to improve coverage of notable chemists and chemistry topics on Wikipedia.
As one of the web’s most visited reference sites, Wikipedia serves as a starting point for many non-scientists to learn about chemistry topics. Wikipedia is an openly editable resource, meaning that you can improve the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia entries. During this training, attendees will learn the basics of how to edit Wikipedia entries and be given time to practice their skills with experienced Wikipedians.
Those who wish to participate on-site must register. 15 seats will be available to the public on a first-to-register basis. (See below for instructions.)
