Wikipedia Loves Libraries is a series of outreach events between the Wikipedia community and libraries. This event will be held at the Grove Hall Branch of the Boston Public Library. It will include a tutorial on how to edit Wikipedia and an edit-a-thon! Particular focus will be given to articles on local history (specifically Grove Hall, Roxbury, and Dorchester), as well as African American history and persons. Event detailsedit
TransportationeditPlease note that this event will be held at the Grove Hall Branch of the Boston Public Library, which is in Dorchester. The library is a 25 minute walk from the Fields Corner station on the Red Line, or you can take Bus #19 from Fields Corner to Geneva Ave & Jeremiah Burke High School. Alternatively, there are a number of other bus stops near the library. There is also a parking lot available for use. ParticipationeditIf you are planning on attending, please sign up below.
