Everyone is cordially invited to attend the 21st Wikipedia Meetup in Cape Town.
Wikipedia is one of the leading resources of knowledge for anyone who has access to the internet. Make an impact by helping contribute to the free encyclopedia which anyone can edit. Come join us as we assist members of the public join our editing/contributing community and answer questions about Wikipedia.

We are again meeting at the new location that we used for the first time at the 20th Cape Town meetup. It has much better wifi, and is more tea friendly than our previous coffee focused location.

After: D Drinks Wikipedia Workshop

Right after the meetup another Wikimedia co-hosted event will be taking place. People attending the meetup are welcome and encouraged to join this second event. It is a learn-to-edit-Wikipedia workshop event. People are also welcome to work on articles related to design as well. The event seeks to encourage members of the design community to join and participate in the free knowledge movement by either editing Wikipedia or by using their design skills to add Wikipedia related content to commons. The event seeks to be relaxed and somewhat informal.
When: Saturday 2nd November at 2 - 5pm

Cost: No charge
Refreshments: Drinks and snacks will be served
All participants must have internet access and must create a username before the event.
