Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/EHA

The EHA, Economic history, and Wikipedia is a presentation and workshop at the Economic History Association's 2013 annual meeting with the support of Wikimedia-DC chapter. We'll discuss how economic historians can edit Wikipedia and give a bit of training. It's on Friday, September 20, 2013.

Exercises and to-do list

• Cleometrics vs. Cliometrics -- merge them together? express a view at Talk:Cleometrics
• Economic history of Pakistan -- an example article to expand; notice separate article for Economy of Pakistan
• David Landes -- to expand. Describe his works, their impact, and a separate section for critiques
• Whitcomb L. Judson -- can edit for brevity
• Journal of Economic History -- think about how to make this and other Wikipedia articles about academic journals more complete, interesting, and useful.
• Panic of 1893 -- cites a EH.Net Encyclopedia article but doesn't include its year, 2001. Can someone fix that?
• Translating any of these to other languages, or specialized content from other languages into English

Peter can monitor all these during the conference and anything else done by signed-in attendees above. Don't worry.
