Women’s Economic Empowerment Edit-a-thon
Only 17% of biographies on Wikipedia are about women. Help us change that! Join Wikimedia DC and the Embassy of Sweden for a Women’s Economic Empowerment Edit-a-thon. Learn to edit Wikipedia and help improve or create articles about Swedish and American women entrepreneurs, business leaders, scientists and innovators. The afternoon will include welcome remarks by the Swedish Ambassador to the US, Karin Olofsdotter, and a training session with Wikimedia DC. A guided tour of the exhibitions in House of Sweden is included.
This event is free and open to the public. Please bring a laptop and photo ID. Registration is required.
