Who writes the history of art in Los Angeles? You do! Meetup with online magazine East of Borneo for a Wikipedia training workshop and edit-a-thon to build a better online history of Southern California art. This next meetup in the Unforgetting L.A. series is hosted by the California African American Museum (in partnership with L.A. as Subject) and will focus on the African American art community in Los Angeles, past and present. As always, beginners welcome! We'll provide training for new editors with orientations offered every hour on the hour.

editUnforgetting LA is a series of Wikipedia edit-a-thons started in July 2013 by the online art magazine East of Borneo. We meet throughout the year at local museums and art spaces to train new editors and build a better online history of art in Southern California. Previous hosts include the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, and USC Libraries.
