Action=History: Sunday Hackathons @ Ace Hotel

On the last Sunday of every month from 2-6pm, the Boardroom at Ace Hotel New York hosts Action Equals History — a unique opportunity for New Yorkers to learn hands-on in a technology training/workshop session about the mechanics, practices and benefits of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects. This is an opportunity for all to gather, share and work collectively towards a more robust account of history.

Join us on Sunday May 27, 2018 for Action=History, a monthly Wikimedia event for anyone to join. At these events participants discuss and develop Wikipedia and Wikimedia content.

The theme for this month is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! Following the Asian American Literature Wikipedia editathon on 12 May 2018, Kundiman and Wikimedia NYC are partnering once again to address the gaps and deficiencies across pages related to Asian American literature on Wikipedia. The goal is to bolster the presence of Asian American writers and literary organizations and make this information accessible to all. Beyond the theme of the event, anyone else may join to engage in any wiki activity of their choice.
