    • The meeting began with a discussion of the budget. Pete shared details. Erika and Brad of the audit committee asked questions.

    • 312 people attended WikiConference North American in San Diego
    • it is proposed that people in San Diego host another conference next year, despite there also being an international Wikimania event in Montreal in summer
    • question: How engaged were Wikipedia contributors in Mexico?
    • response: There were some people from Wikimedia Mexico in attendance but overall less participation from people in Mexico
  • WikiArte event at MoMa this Saturday
    • Last weekend was a photo event at NYU in partnership with Open House New York. Tech people were in attendance. Support was given to photographers to upload photos. In that event there were 432 photo uploads. Dispenser, a WMF grant recipient, presented on the topic of making images on Wikipedia more accessible to people who are visually impaired.

    • there is no designated OCLC contact, however, it is reported that several board members continue to talk with this group

    • someone suggested that the tone of communication in email list serve prohibits some sorts of communication, whereas in-person communication is more collegiate
