Hispanic-Latinx Heritage Month 2023: Edit-a-thon! is a Wikimedia NYC event on Sunday October 1, being held in the middle of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sep 15–Oct 15).

Some past local edit-a-thons touching on this area have included the two editions of Wikipedia:Meetup/WikiArte at MoMA in 2015-16, and the CUNY LaGuardia translat-a-thons held annually since 2018.

We're also supported by the AfroCrowd initiative, which among other projects curates an Afro-Latinx list.
