Pace University Library is hosting Wikipedia for Libraries, a casual talk for library staff and friends on Tuesday November 10, 2020 2-3pm. Join presenter Lane Rasberry, Wikimedian in Residence at the University of Virginia, who will demonstrate how universities, and especially university libraries, use Wikipedia to make their research and resources more accessible. The talk includes an introduction to Wikipedia and examples of how libraries benefit from Wikipedia collaboration.
No preparation or prior Wikipedia experience required!

editLane Rasberry is Wikimedian-in-residence at the School of Data Science at the University of Virginia. His interests include popular science, consumer protection, civic engagement, access to health information, clinical research, the Open Movement, data science, LGBT history, and Wikimedia projects.
