Introduction
editThis page is a meetup for the Women in STEAM edit-a-thon on October 9th at West Virginia University Libraries. This event is great for all levels of Wikipedia knowledge. We will help explain the basics of editing Wikipedia and talk together about the importance of doing so.
We will be editing articles relating to Women in STEAM (science - technology - engineering - arts - mathematics). This event is hosted in cooperation with the Campus Read program, WVU Diversity Week, and the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) West Virginia Chapter. The WVU Campus Read text 2017-2018 is Hidden Figures (book).
Please bring a laptop!
