Need this moved back to Rutgers-Newark where it has been correctly for years. The WP:COMMONNAME compliant form of the name should be and is Rutgers-Newark. On 27/28 February, a user who apparently does not know anything about Rutgers-Newark made an incorrect move to "Rutgers University, Newark" and started referring to the institution as "Rutgers University in Newark" claiming that it looked more "clean" and "professional" and that this titling format matched how the University of California system is represented in articles. Talk about comparing apples and oranges. I'd move it myself, but I do not know if this will cause any technical issues. Returning the article's title to an accurate form should not be controversial, and this is likely the result of a good-faith but boneheaded mistake. Thank you for your assistance.ColonelHenry (talk) 22:55, 2 March 2013 (UTC) |
