The New pages patrol source guide was started in an effort to centralize information about sources so that new page reviewers would be able to better assess sources from regions that they are unfamiliar with. In order to expand the guide's coverage to regions affected by systemic bias, whose sources are not frequently discussed on the reliable sources noticeboard, the NPP coordinators have organized broad discussions covering such sources.
