- This user needs an explanation on how to tag images with fair use and other licensing tags, and needs to know when to upload and when not to upload fair use images. I am sure that this user is a clueless newbie because he uploads good images that can be used, but does not know how to tag them properly, and also uploads unused fair use images. Could someone help me here? I am not good at speaking to or writing to complete newbies. Jesse Viviano 20:38, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- TOTI has been submitting articles written entirely in Spanish (I'm pretty sure). I'd like someone to to explain the obvious about articles in other languages on the English wikipedia. I know no Spanish. Thanks to whoever can help.--Kchase02 T 08:40, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- This user doesn't seem to realize that here in the English Wikipedia people usually aren't supposed to post in Chinese. All of this user's edits have been to create an article about the Tiananmen Square Massacre in Chinese (which has now been deleted), with no posts in English whatsoever. 69.117.4.132 18:11, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- User has been going around Thomas the Tank Engine articles but doesn't seem to have grasped the ideas of capitalization, overwikification (or indeed wiki code other than wikification) and the use of sources. He also tends to add opinions. Can someone give him a helping hand and clean up his work and tell him how to improve? - Mgm|(talk) 10:54, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- This is not a new user but seems profoundly confused about a few things. He or she edits Celebrity Fit Club, mainly by adding vast amounts of copyrighted text from another site and engaging in revert wars when it is removed (see history). Of late, has made many edits to the page trying to get a link to an inline copy of the episode to work (which would not be allowed, I wouldn't think); however, the copy appears to be on his hard drive, so lots of the edits appear to involve either his C: drive or the loopback IP address 127.0.0.1. I can't work with him; how last comment to me was "FUCK OFF". He clearly wants to contribute--could someone help him? · rodii · 16:53, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Leewanda22 (talk · contribs)
- User joined on 21 April 2006 and has created two seperate vanity articles for the same person (Wanda Karen Lee Middleton and Wanda Middleton), has twice added (and had removed) that name from two different biography pages, and removed the prod tag I put on the first link. The articles themselves are so incoherent I can't even tell if Leewanda22 is Wanda Middleton or just related to her. Jamoche 21:57, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- And she's removed the AfD. I'm still new myself so I'm not even sure what to say to her. Jamoche 04:46, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- User joined on 12 December 2005 and is currently editing Heaven's Stairway and Talk:Heaven's Stairway and will not follow Wikipedia policies regarding the removal of signatures, reliable published sources, verifiability, personal attacks, 3RR, ownership, and many others. User removes maintenance and dispute tags posted on the article page, and blanks comments made to user talk page. —Viriditas | Talk 14:55, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- This user who joined on 31 December 2005, has made a number of edits on Wikipedia. He does not know anything about wikifying articles, and does not know how to write articles the Wikipedia style. These articles are unwikified and reads like advertisments. The articles is likely to be a copy and paste edit from the website. Many Singapore-related articles such as, Plaza Singapura, Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, Shaw Organization and Underwater World were created as unwikified, and a copy and paste from the official website. Most of these articles have been cleanup and wikified, and if you may like to look at the article's history. --Terence Ong (恭喜发财) 10:34, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- This new user started off by editing the top-level Browse by Category, which I discovered from my watchlist. He probably could use a welcome greeting and the standard links. So far his work has simply invited AFD's by others. I'm pretty sure others are watching him as well. --Ancheta Wis 11:31, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Necronizer (talk · contribs)
- Creates (and re-creates if deleted) extremely un-encyclopedic articles on individual Vanessa Mae albums, which are all blatant copyright violations from [1]. Doesn't seem to understand clearly the concept of copyright; seems to think providing a link to the original page ("ALL THE RITGHS ARE RESERVERD TO THE WEBMASTER AND COLABORATORS") is enough. Often writes in very bad English. 131.111.8.101 23:01, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

- Not sure what to think of this user, who may be acting in bad faith although I will WP:FAITH. This user was brought to my attention by Deckiller, and I wasn't sure what action to take, and I think s/he needs someone to help him/her out with much better communication skills than I have. Has added many pictures to several pages related to Xenosaga, and has also vandalized at least Deckiller's user page. The user claims not to speak English but Spanish, and has been directed to the Spanish Wikipedia, but removed that message from their talk page. Y0u | Y0ur talk page 02:20, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- This is a new user who is contributing to a lot of NASCAR articles. Unfortunately, every article he has touched(David Stremme, Regan Smith, Josh Richeson, Wayne Grubb, Aaron & A. J. Fike) is clearly out of whack, and he also seems to sign his name to every article. He seems to be very knowledgeable, but someone needs to mentor him about the formatting parts of Wikipedia and show him the ropes. Also, I'd check and make sure those images he's uploaded are not copyrighted. --D-Day 23:08, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- TheOgry has uploaded images for the Kyo and Iori video game articles, respectivly, and promptly used them all to saturate those respective articles to the point of ridiculousness. When I asked why he had removed all the previous images in the article, his "concensus" was "They needed to be there", and when I talked to another user on my talkpage regarding it, he responded with a barrage of demands and insolence. His concensus is purely out of WP:POV, as I found out on my talkpage. He's far from vindidctive, just thinks too highly on his own opinion regrading articles. I think he could be a good contributor if he disisted WP:POV, and learned some manners.-MegamanZero 15:42, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- It appears the user's name is actually TheOrgy (talk • contribs) - Akamad 23:47, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- My mistake. I'll fix that.-MegamanZero 00:05, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- Like TheOgry, this user appears to not understand WP:POV is not allowed on wikipedia, as well as the common statement "An encyclopedia should be extensive and informative, not exhaustive". He came in one day and promptly added mad amounts of qoutes to various video game character articles, even going so far as to create subsections for them. When I reverted and stated they weren't needed and were excessive, he proceded to call me a jackass on my userpage complete with a grasious package of nasty remarks (He and TheOgry's behavior patterns are very similar...) However, his edits are not vandalism, just a bit overexcessive, and like some other newbies, could just use a crash course in good manners; then he'll go far,-MegamanZero 15:42, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

- edited templates instead of articles, and the article added itself seemed pretty much in a vanity/advertising direction, I think. Not an experienced welcomer though, so thought I'd better hand this to the pros... Renke 12:24, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
Spellchecker (talk · contribs)
- This user appears to be new, and is systematically changing spellings from American to British in seemingly arbitrary articles, mostly to do with math and physics but also some doozies like Abortion, Africa, and Government. I'm not sure if that counts as vandalism, so I'm listing it here instead. I've already left a note to the user that what they are doing is wrong, but if this is a bot or semi-bot (cyborg?) they may not get it. --FOo 08:59, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- Left another note on their talk page and at WP:BOTS, where they don't appear to have previously secured permissions. — MC MasterChef :: Leave a tip — 09:23, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
85.75.36.46 (talk · contribs) has been submitting some articles on stars. At first I had doubts about their validity, but they appear to come from the German Wikipedia. Can someone instruct this person on how to format his entries? - Mgm|(talk) 12:18, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

- Is adding new articles for World War I battles that appear to be copied directly from the site www.firstworldwar.com. Doing "Newpages patrol", I have now marked one (Raid on Zeebrugge) for possible copyvio and am now going to look at the others. 13:50, 6 November 2005 (UTC) Update: Yes, alas, all of the many articles added, though excellent in quality, appear to be lifted verbatim from the above-mentioned website. -- IslandGyrl 14:42, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

- This user has made all his contributions in sentence fragment form, and not always in an appropriate article. He has been welcomed and has received several polite but frustrated appeals on his talk page... any suggestions about how to coach him effectively would be welcome. - This user has asked for help with an AFD against the first three articles he created, on my talk page. I have given him some suggestions, but do not feel inclined to "do the work for him" (perhaps because I'm a professor, I'm not inclined toward spoonfeeding.) If anyone else wants to wade in and start editing his work, feel free... I'm sure he'd appreciate more direct assistance than I am providing. Mamawrites 17:45, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
blackmage88 (talk · contribs) This user continually signs his name on the articles he writes and re-inserts it if anyone removes it. He also seems to have a slight lack of understanding about the NPOV policy - he keeps using words like "slaughtered" or "extremely" and never uses words like "arguably". I've tried to help through his talk page, but he hasn't read my messages yet, it seems, as he continues to re-sign his name on articles he writes.
On the plus side, though, he seems to be quite a Gundam expert - he's written several articles.

- He seems a bit like Krelian 88...they could be the same person. Deckiller 01:09, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Hildanknight (talk · contribs) Seems to be struggling with the wiki format and having trouble understanding the NOR rule. Doesn't seem to know where to ask for help or give suggestions. For example, vandalized Userbox page to request Google Talk userbox. Seems to be pro-Google and anti-Microsoft. Shows potential to be a good contributor, though, and seems to act in good faith. Has made several good articles and offered suggestions to improve Wikipedia.
User:Omkar
editNot certain if this was serious, the name "omkar" was added by an anon IP 210.212.170.130 in section 1, so moved to this section instead. Also contacted the omkar as well as the anon user to find out if it was a serious suggestion. Bjelleklang - talk 17:10, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- I believe he is just getting the hang on WP and it is taking a while. Please do not WP:BITE. Has received several warnings for low-level vandalism, also blanked his talk page (but noted so), which is what prompts me to list him here. --pfctdayelise 11:12, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Made Template:Good, Template:Bad and Template:Small, duplicating functions of WP:GA, Template:Cleanup, and Template:stub. Also adds cleanup templates to random articles. --{{subst:user|4836.03}} 12:44, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Seems to be trolling WP:RfA. Nominates other clueless newbies for adminship and nominates himself too. --{{subst:user|4836.03}} 12:44, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
A string of disruptive edits, such as removing references, blocks of text, some insults, etc. Seems to not like to discuss his edits. Rmhermen 19:57, 10 Ma rch 2006 (UTC)

- created the article Ziboce's Beyond Tai Chi, which I marked as having a copyright violation. Then on Talk:Ziboce's Beyond Tai Chi, he first said he had Ziboce's permission before saying he was Ziboce after I directed the user to Wikipedia:Copyrights#Using copyrighted work from others. They are now asking for help on their talk page about how to add content that is theirs to Wikipedia. -- MOE.RON talk | done | doing 19:18, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
