I've listed this article for peer review because I want advice on how to improve it before resubmitting it for a featured article review.

Alright, since this is a subject we should have a top-notch article on, I am printing this out and will get back with my comments soon ... Daniel Case (talk) 07:04, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
Okaaaaayyyy ...
I spent a couple of days with the printout and a red pen.
I went from thinking I would make some general comments, to thinking I would have to spend a good deal of time over Thanksgiving writing out a long list of specifics, to putting tags in the article and reaching the following conclusion:
The article is not only a long way from FA, it no longer meets the GA criteria and should be delisted.
I will soon open a GAR with this recommendation and specifics. This is in no way your fault. In fact, you should consider it an opportunity.
I do not want you to be discouraged, since it seems you are fairly new to the project. Put it this way: the process of improving—no, basically rebuilding—this article will be long, arduous and tedious, but you will learn a lot by putting yourself through it if that's what you want to do.
Stay tuned. Daniel Case (talk) 16:29, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
OK, I have started the GAR process here. Daniel Case (talk) 06:09, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Daniel Case: Thanks for your help. I look forward to going through the GAR process, and am I closing this as I think that will be the best place to discuss. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 17:53, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
