I have worked very hard on it. But I am Swedish and need help with language.
An anonymouse user keeps posting religiously biased material (I and User:Uppland think so) and remove the things I have written. - Fred chessplayer 03:33, 30 Jan 2005
- Cant help you much with the language, since I'm Norwegian myself... but for starters, perhaps a caption under the picture? Apart from that, I don't really see much that needs fixing. WegianWarrior 13:20, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you. I would like to point that the most important thing is to get the facts checked as correct and NPOV. As such, anonymous users can't claim they have the right to edit. Fred chessplayer 13:26, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- I have given the first half a light copyedit, please review so I haven't introduced misunderstandings. Please note various "invisible" queries I make, which show up in the edit field. It's obvious that a lot of work has gone into this article, indeed, and to very good effect. I do think you have a potential Featured article there, though as you say it needs a shine. I've edited it conservatively, I or someone else could probably do more after you review those suggestions. I'll be back for the second half, anyway, when I have more time. Very interesting article! A few details:
- The statement "His father had a good reputation with the king of Sweden" is a bit mysterious—one can't really have a "reputation" with a single person, but I don't understand it well enough to change it—could you expand it, please? Which king, how did his approval come about, what aspect of Swedberg's career/personality/tenets were in question?
- What are "engineering works"?
- Explain the "Gothenburg system" for liquor laws, please (writing a stub and linking to it would be a good way of doing it). Bishonen | Talk 19:45, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
